Our journey to you

Our recipes come from a long tradition of cultural cooks. My Grandmother the matriarch of our family compiled these recipes through years of cooking as I grew up. Growing up in the Caribbean, my family would always find a reason to get together and cooking was a gift handed down from my grandmother to my mother and then down to me. My Grandmother would always tell us about a new recipe (or the one her mother passed down to her). With the lessons and the art I have learned from 3 generations of amazing cooks, I have turned a family tradition into a tasteful business that we share with thousands of people. Dacks Cuisine specializes in the delectable tastes of Jamaica and American Cuisine.


We are a family owned and operated business with a goal to share the real taste of Jamaica with everyone. Our Journey started as an idea and began as a food truck business on February 19,2018 . we catered corporate events and local events like Bronx Market, Jacobi Hospital, and Cross County Foodie Friday's. We traveled from borough to borough sharing a love of food with all who pass by. Our customers can’t get enough of our Oxtails and Jerk Chicken dishes. The items on our menu are seasoned and marinated for at least 48 to 72 hours before they touch the stove. This process allows the meats to absorb the seasonings throughout, leaving nothing lacking in flavor and taste.


As business and reputation grew we decided to expand our services. On January 14, 2019 we will be launching our first flag ship store in the Wakefield section of the Bronx. Please come and join us for our grand opening. Come get your belly full!
